A wreck on Canton Road at Jackson Terrace in Trigg County sent a woman to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say a woman was westbound when she swerved to miss a deer and ran off the roadway causing her truck to hit a tree.
The woman was trapped inside the truck and had to be freed by the Trigg County Rescue Team.
She was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just before 7 pm.
