Christian County Ag Extension Agent Matt Futrell, who is also a part of the Little River Water Quality Consortium, tells the News Edge the group has been working on this program for a while.

The group recently secured some federal grant money to help fix issues with septic tanks along the South Fork Little River.
Futrell adds letters are being sent out to those who own homes and businesses along the portion of Little River that qualifies for the program. The letter will include some dates for informational meetings, where the program will be described in more detail.
