A home on Walnut Street in Hopkinsville was severely damaged in a fire Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say when they arrived black smoke and flames were coming from the back of the home located at 1807 Walnut Street.
Everyone was able to get out of the home uninjured but the owner’s cat has not been located.
The cause of the fire was unknown and the family will be displaced due to the damage.
