A section of KY 525/New Hope Road in Trigg County has been closed until further notice due to a damaged drainage structure.
District 1 spokesman Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the road is closed about one mile south of KY 139/South Road between Freeman Road and Meador Cemetery Road.
Todd says the roadway has been barricaded with signs at the location.
According to Todd, New Hope Road will remain closed while District 1 engineers evaluate the damaged concrete box culvert to develop a repair plan or determine if it should be replaced.
