Christian County Man Charged With Trafficking Drugs After Tennessee Traffic Stop

A traffic stop on Lick Creek Road in Stewart County, Tennessee, led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville man Monday.

Stewart County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a suspicious vehicle driven by 46-year-old Michelle McMahon of Cunningham, Tennessee, and a law enforcement K-9 alerted on the vehicle during the stop.

Authorities say heroin, meth, fentanyl, marijuana, buspirone as well as assorted drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.

McMahon and her passenger 44-year-old William Strange of Hopkinsville were both found to have warrants in Montgomery County, Tennessee, and Todd County for auto theft and many other crimes. They were both arrested and charged with multiple charges of trafficking and possession of drugs.
