Barkley Plantation Assisted Living in Cadiz is back open and allowing non-family visitors after being closed for over a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Owner Clara Beth Hyde tells the News Edge every resident is fully vaccinated.
Hyde adds there are still some safety precautions that will be in place.
She says most of her residents have had a difficult time during the pandemic not seeing their friends.
Barkley Plantation has 22 residents and is located at 640 By-Pass Road in Cadiz.
