Funeral services for 98-year-old Clarence McClellan Newton Jr., of Hopkinsville, will be held Saturday morning, May 1, at 11:00, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will take place Friday afternoon from 4:00 until 7:00 and again Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 at the funeral home.
Survivors include his son, Smith Newton, and wife Sandy of Hopkinsville; His daughter Connie Hampton and her husband Dwight of Hopkinsville. His brother Cordell Newton of Hopkinsville; 4 grandchildren, John David (July) Hampton, Keith (Holly) Hampton, Jessica Newton, Cali Newton (Nicholas) Marhevka; and 8 great-grandchildren, Luke Hampton, Zachary Hampton, Benjamin Hampton, Sloan Hampton, Harlow Hampton, Palin Hampton, AnneBrian Hampton, and Nicholas Marhevka Jr.
