Christian County and the Kentucky Division of Waste Management will host a Waste Tire Collection Event in a few weeks.
Pennyrile Area Development District Associate Director Amy Frogue told the News Edge the event would be held at Hopkinsville Elevator – Caskey Branch at 4785 Pembroke Road.
Frogue added they would be accepting most tires, but there are some exceptions.
Tire retailers, scrap/salvage yards, and recycling businesses are prohibited from participating.
Any Kentucky resident is invited to utilize this event to get rid of tires.
