A wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard in the area of Locust Grove Road sent a man to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a motorcyclist was northbound at a high rate of speed when a southbound truck attempted to pull into a driveway in front of him. The motorcyclist lost control and ran off the road and hit a wooden fence.
A helicopter was called to the scene and transported the rider to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Authorities say the extent of his injuries was unknown but he was able to talk with them before he was transported.
The crash happened just before 3 pm.
