Turn Signal Violation Leads To Drug Arrest

A Hopkinsville man was reportedly found with drugs after a traffic stop on Maggie Road in Trigg County Thursday night.

Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 32-year-old Bryson Lumbard was stopped after he failed to use his turn signal. Lumbard was reportedly shaking and had accelerated breathing during the stop. He told police he was going to a home on Maggie Road to borrow a tool.

A law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted to the presence of narcotics in his vehicle and after a search syringes, a scale with a white powder residue on it, and Oxycodone pills were found.

He is charged with failure to or improper turn signal and possession of opiates.
