Governor Andy Beshear has directed flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff to honor the service and sacrifice of the victims of Friday’s attack at the United States Capitol.
State officials said Governor Beshear’s request comes following a request from the White House. Flags are asked to be lowered until sunset Tuesday.
Beshear encourages individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the Commonwealth to join in this tribute.
