A Hopkinsville woman has been charged with the murder of a man on College Street in Hopkinsville early Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called just before 1 am to 1501 College Street for a man that had been shot. When they arrived, they found 33-year-old Anthony Johnson in front of the residence, unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Police say 25-year-old Kachelle Isell was located at the scene of the shooting and found to have a gun on her, after talking with her she told police she had shot Johnson.
Johnson was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. Isell is charged with murder.
