Kentucky COVID Testing Positivity Rate Below Three-Percent


Governor Andy Beshear said the state experienced the tenth week of declining COVID-19 cases.

Beshear announced Sunday afternoon, Kentucky had 316 new COVID-19 cases and 18 new deaths, two coming from the state’s death audit currently underway. The statewide testing positivity rate fell to 2.97-percent.

There are 463 Kentuckians who remained hospitalized with the virus, the same number as Saturday. The number of residents in the ICU rose ten people, while those on a ventilator rose 11 people from Saturday.
