Christian County Officials Confirm More Backlogged COVID-19 Cases Thursday

After Christian County Health Department announced Wednesday a backlog of COVID-19 cases, more of those cases were confirmed Thursday.

Officials said of the 126 new cases reported, 117 were backlogged, and 9 were new. The county is now reporting a slight increase in active cases, at 75. Nearly two-thirds of the active cases are among those 22 and 59. Also, 16 are either 21 or younger, and 12 active cases are between 60 and 84. None of the active cases Thursday were among those 85 or older.

Christian County has reported 6,376 total COVID-19 cases and 83 deaths since the onset of the pandemic.
