Fire Causes Minor Damage to Princeton Hardee’s (w/Photos)

Princeton firefighters responded to a fire at a fast-food restaurant on US 62 West Thursday morning.

Caldwell County Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin tells the News Edge approximately ten firefighters, a pumper truck, and a ladder truck responded to the fire at Hardee’s restaurant shortly after 10:10 a.m.

He says the fire was contained to the roof and there was little damage inside the restaurant.

McCaslin says he was on US 62 West when he saw smoke coming from the roof.

Caldwell County EMS was on standby for any possible injuries, and Princeton police officers also assisted at the scene and provided traffic control.
