A Hopkinsville man told police someone gave him counterfeit money for an item he was selling.
Hopkinsville Police say three counterfeit hundred-dollar bills were used to buy an Xbox series X from a Hopkinsville man Wednesday afternoon.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charges as first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft by deception.
