Officials with the Christian County Health Department announced three new deaths related to COVID-19 Tuesday afternoon.
Spokesperson Amanda Sweeney Brunt said the deaths involved two 84-year-old females and a 78-year-old male, all had underlying health conditions.
Brunt adds although there has been a significant drop in active case numbers, proper precautions should still be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. She says everyone should continue to mask up, wash their hands, follow social distancing guidelines, and get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible.
