A home in Todd County had to be evacuated after high water surrounded the residence Sunday.
Todd County Emergency Manager Daniel Smith says the home on Water Street in Elkton was evacuated and several roads have been shut down due to high water.
Smith says no one was injured and emergency personnel was able to help the Water Street residents get out safely.
The National Weather Service in Paducah has placed the area under a Flash Flood Warning until 9:00 p.m. due to heavy rain being forecast for the area.
