A Trigg County restaurant will be hosting a fundraiser for a man who lost everything in a home fire last week on Military Road.
Andrea Reynolds from Hanks Corner Market in Cerulean says 50-percent of all food proceeds from Friday night will go to Jack McGee.
Reynolds adds the McGee family is only asking for monetary donations at this time.
McGee is a well-known chef in Trigg County for his delicious food, including his time at Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
McGee told the News Edge in 2018, he has been cooking for over 40 years, and it has always been a passion for him.
