A home on Military Road in Trigg County was destroyed in a fire Wednesday morning.
Roaring Springs Firefighters say the fire started in the kitchen area of the home and quickly spread throughout the house.
When firefighters arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters say no one was inside the home owned by the McGee family when the fire started.
The home is located at 1010 Military Road. Roaring Springs Fire Department was assisted by Lafayette Fire Department.
