A wreck on Interstate 24 at the 70-mile marker sent three people to the hospital one with critical injuries Tuesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a tractor-trailer was stopped in the eastbound lanes due to traffic when it was hit by a truck pulling a trailer and an SUV.
Another tractor-trailer then hit the truck pinning three people inside the truck. All three people were extricated from the vehicle by the Christian County Rescue Team.
Two men were reportedly taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and a female was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville with severe injuries.
