Authorities are investigating the death of a Crofton woman who was found deceased in a Todd County home Friday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police say Guthrie Police were called to a home for an unresponsive male and found 25-year-old Melissa Sheerin dead inside the home as well. The home had no electricity or heat. The man whose name has not been released was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for hypothermia.
Police say no foul play is suspected in the death and believe that the woman died as a result of hypothermia.
