City of Hopkinsville officials are reassuring the public that work is continuing to address snowfall.
Officials said city, county, and state transportation crews and Christian County Emergency Management had made preparations to combat and clear roadways when the winter system pushes out of the region.
As the weather system continues, motorists are urged to stay at home and keep off roadways as much as possible.
Officials add those needing emergency accommodations are encouraged to contact the Salvation Army shelter at (270) 885-6006.
