A Hopkinsville man was charged after he failed to stop for police Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop 31-year-old Akeem Humphrey for reckless driving in the area of East 9th Street and South Clay Street and he fled.
Humphrey’s vehicle was found later in a parking lot at Pennyrile Apartments.
He was reportedly found hiding in an apartment and was taken into custody. Humphrey is charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, operating on a suspended license, and reckless driving.
