Winter Storm Watch Issued For Western Kentucky

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in effect from Sunday night through late Monday night for western Kentucky.

According to officials with the weather service in Paducah, moderate to locally heavy snow is possible. We could see total snow accumulations of four or more inches for our area during this time frame.

In addition, very cold wind chill temperatures are also forecast with winds out of the northeast from 10 to 20 miles per hour which could cause the snow to drift.

Officials say the concern for hazardous travel conditions continues to increase, and the morning and evening commute could be impacted on Monday.
