The public is invited to an open house at the Ivy Manor Bed & Breakfast and Events in Caldwell County this Saturday.
Two families, Debbie and Darren Smiley and Lori and Ty Harper, joined forces to renovate the 1800’s farmhouse located on Princeton Road. Lori says the home was owned by her grandmother, Ivy, and they started the renovation in September 2018 to turn it into a bed and breakfast and event location.
click to download audioDuring the remodel, Lori says they found some neat items when they removed two of the four original mantels and a wall inside the home.
She adds the house originally had six rooms.

click to download audioThe Ivy Manor is located at 17720 Hopkinsville Road. The Open House is free for the public to attend and will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 Saturday afternoon.
