Officials with the Pennyrile District Health Department announced Wednesday afternoon they are currently administering COVID-19 vaccines in each of their five-counties to persons 70 and older, as the vaccine becomes available.
They say for persons who are 70 and older and want a COVID-19 vaccine you should call your health department in Caldwell, Crittenden, Lyon, Livingston, and Trigg counties to be added to a list. Officials indicate they have limited doses for each county.
Officials are also asking for everyone to be patient, as they do have times when the phone lines are tied up, or the health department may be closed or short-staffed due to conducting COVID vaccine clinics at other locations.
