A home on Colonel Drive was damaged by fire Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville firefighters say smoke and flames were coming from the home when they arrived. The fire was contained to one room but caused severe smoke damage to the rest of the home.
No one was injured but the owner of the home will be displaced due to the damage.
The home is located in the 100 block of Colonel Drive. The American Red Cross was contacted to help the owner.
