Beshear Appoints Lyon County Leader And Instruction Supervisor To State Board

Governor Andy Beshear has appointed Crystal Lasher-Hurst and Wade White as members of the Kentucky State Board on Electric Generation and Transmission Siting.

Lasher-Hurst is Supervisor of Instruction for the Lyon County Board of Education, and White is the Judge Executive for the county. Both reside in Eddyville.

The Kentucky State Board on Electric General and Transmission Siting was created in 2002 by an act of the Kentucky General Assembly. Its mission is to review applications and, as appropriate, grant certificates for the construction of electric generating facilities and transmission lines that are not regulated by the Kentucky Public Service Commission.
