The Pennyrile District Health Department confirmed one death and 15 new COVID-19 cases in Trigg County Tuesday.
Officials said the death was an 88-year-old male on January 23 and is the eighth COVID-linked death in the county.
Also, eight females and seven males between the ages of 8 and 69 were among the new positive cases of COVID-19 in Trigg County. All cases are isolated at home.
Across the Pennyrile District Health Department region, eight new cases were confirmed Tuesday in Caldwell County and two in Crittenden and Livingston counties.
