SWK EDC Looking Ahead For Future Growth

The South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council is working on its five-year goal for their three-county area.

Executive Director Carter Hendricks told the News Edge part of their Monday afternoon board meeting was a presentation that included hearing from the Christian County Chamber of Commerce.

After Pendleton’s presentation, Hendricks shared a draft five-year plan with the board.

During the meeting, Hendricks shared the unemployment rates for November.

He added that’s a good indicator for the region.

The publication will feature jobs across Christian, Todd, and Trigg counties that feature starting pay above $20/an hour. For more information, visit the South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council on Facebook.
