Governor Honors the Memory of Christian County Court Worker Tara Mahone

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear took time at his Monday statewide media briefing to remember a Christian County court designated worker who died earlier this month while infected with COVID-19.

48-year-old Tara Mahone died on January 15. She was a court designated worker in Christian County and previously served as a victim’s advocate in Trigg and Todd counties. Beshear said Mahone was a tireless worker for people in need.

click to download audioMahone was also very active in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church where she was a part of the church’s outreach and home ministry programs. She was also proud of the fact that her sons Daquarius, Keith, and Jovante were called into the ministry as preachers.

Beshear said Tara’s husband Keith Sr. was also proud of the work she did in the church.
