The active COVID-19 case number in Christian County fell by 116 Thursday.
The Christian County Health Department confirmed 36 new cases, with the active case count at 468. The last time the active case count was below 500 was on December 29.
Of the active cases, 286 are between 22 and 59, which is the lowest since January 1. Also, 100 are either 60 or older, while 82 are 21 or younger.
