Restaurant Owner Seeking Assistance From Cadiz City Council

Cadiz Restaurant owner Suzie Henry is encouraging Cadiz City Council to consider existing restaurants that have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic amid incentives extended to three new restaurants last year.

Henry told Council members during Tuesday’s meeting her previous requests for help from the city have been turned down when she requested to help purchase a new fryer for the restaurant, to apply for some historical grant funds to repair the neon sign, and most recently when she requested a waiver on paying the restaurant tax after the state restaurant shutdowns in 2020.
