The Pennyrile District Health Department will begin vaccinating people 70 and older on Wednesday, with clinics planned this week in Trigg, Caldwell, Lyon, Livingston, and Crittenden Counties.
The Health Department will be offering the Moderna vaccine on a first come, first serve basis. Vaccine distribution will begin Wednesday, January 6 at the health departments in Caldwell, Crittenden, Lyon, and Livingston Counties from 9 am until 4pm. The District Health Department will conduct vaccinations in Caldwell, Trigg, Lyon, and Livingston Counties Thursday, January 7 from 9am until 4pm. The health departments will be closed for lunch each day from 12 until 12:30. The health departments in Caldwell, Trigg, Lyon, Livingston, and Crittenden Counties will also offer vaccinations to those 70 and older Monday, January 11, through Thursday, January 14 from 9 am until 4pm each day. The health departments will not offer vaccinations on Fridays.
The Pennyrile District Health Department will continue to offer vaccines to first responders and health care workers when they need it.
