Comer Votes For Stimulus Increase In House Vote

The House voted Monday afternoon in favor of sending $2,000 in stimulus checks to Americans, an increase from a previously approved $600.

Kentucky Congressman James Comer says he’s voted in favor of these payments because they go to those who are struggling to keep their businesses open or are struggling with unemployment. Congressman Comer discussing on “Fox and Friends”:

click to download audioComer was joined by Kentucky Congressmen Jon Yarmuth and Hal Rogers in voting for the increase in stimulus payments. Kentucky Congressmen Thomas Massie and Brett Guthrie voted against the increase, with Congressman Andy Barr not voting. The vote passed 275 to 134.
