Clouds will continue to build as we go through the week, with rain chances increasing, although some models indicate the region could see a strong bite of winter weather.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says the temperatures will begin warming up this week.
Powell adds forecasts to the northwest of the region include an ice storm with this system.
