Princeton Teen Flown to Hospital After Being Hit By Vehicle Sunday

A Princeton teen was flown to an out-of-state hospital after she was hit by a vehicle in Caldwell County Sunday afternoon.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers responded to the 300 block of Dawson Road just before 4:00 p.m. and found that 13-year old Sierra Spalding was attempting to cross the road when she was hit by a car driven by 18-year old Deontaye Walls of Fredonia.

He says Spalding was treated on the scene and later flown to Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville for injuries.

Officers were assisted at the scene by Caldwell County EMS, Princeton Fire Department, and the Princeton Police Department Accident Reconstruction Officer.
