A Hopkinsville man was charged following a stabbing that occurred during a fight on South Main Street Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a man was stabbed several times in the arm during a fight with 51-year-old John Chambers, of Hopkinsville, at the Manhattan Motel. The man was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, The extent of the injuries was unknown.
Chambers was reportedly found in his apartment with blood on his hands. He was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
The fight was reported to police just before 9 pm.
