Cold Weather For Christmas Holiday

From Paducah NWS: Bitterly cold wind chills are expected late Thursday night and Christmas morning when wind chills average around zero. Remember to dress in extra layers and bring your pets indoors.

Cold weather is in store for the Christmas holiday.

Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says a cold front moved through Wednesday night, which brought the temperatures down quickly. He adds snow is possible through Christmas Day, but no accumulations are expected.

Powell encourages everyone to check up on outdoor animals, as this will be some of the coldest air we have seen since last winter.

By the weekend, temperatures will warm up to the upper 40s Saturday and lower 50s on Sunday under sunny or partly sunny skies.
