Wreaths Across America honors fallen veterans year-round by coordinating wreath-laying efforts across the country.
The organization’s mission is to remember and honor our veterans and teach the next generation to do the same on a daily basis, rather than two days a year.
Cindy Ezell Hinson is the location coordinator for 13 counties in western Kentucky and northwest Tennessee. She says the number of donated wreaths increased substantially over past years.
The goal, she notes, is for every cemetery to have wreaths.
For those interested, the time to buy a wreath is before Jan. 15 to double your impact.
