Kentucky State Police say a Mayfield man apparently shot and killed his family and then turned the gun on himself Sunday, December 20.
State Police say their investigation revealed 41-year-old Kyle Milliken of Mayfield shot his wife 35-year-old Allison Milliken and their two juvenile sons Sunday. Kyle Milliken then reportedly turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. The autopsy that was conducted Monday at the Western Kentucky Regional Medical Examiners Office in Madisonville showed all four victims died of gunshot wounds.
The shooting occurred at a residence on Smith’s Lane South of Mayfield.
State Police are continuing to investigate the case.
