Police have released the name of a Washington woman that was hit by a vehicle on South Main Street Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 49-year-old Gretchen Howard was crossing the road near the intersection of East 9th Street when she was hit by a van driven by 50-year-old Laurie Jimoh, of Hopkinsville. Jimoh had just turned onto South Main Street from East 9th Street.
Howard was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for head and back pain. The crash happened just after 1 pm.
