A home on East 2nd Street in Hopkinsville was damaged in a shooting early Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say the home, located at the intersection of Mechanic Street, was hit at least seven times, but no one inside the home was injured. Law enforcement was called to the area for a report of shots fired just after 4 am and found several shell casings from two different guns in the roadway.
Police say most of the rounds that hit the home were over the top of the door and windows.
