Bechler to Serve on Several Key House Committees

When the Kentucky General Assembly convenes next month, 4th District State Representative Lynn Bechler of Marion will serve on several key committees that reflect the district’s priorities.

According to an announcement from the office of House Speaker David Osborne, Rep. Bechler will serve as chair of the Budget Review Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Protection, Tourism, and Energy. In addition, he will serve as a member of the Appropriations and Revenue, Economic Development and Workforce Investment, Small Business and Information Technology, Program Review and Investigations, and the Child Welfare Oversight and Advisory committees when the Kentucky General Assembly convenes early next month.

Rep. Bechler says he is honored to have the opportunity to serve his district on these committees for another session. He went on to say he wants the people of Kentucky to work less for our government and more for themselves. Bechler says he is committed to passing fiscally responsible policies that will help the state rebuild and move forward.

With these appointments, the House Speaker’s announcement says Rep. Bechler is in a position to positively impact not only his district but the entire commonwealth. The legislature is scheduled to convene for the 2021 Regular Session on January 5.

Rep. Bechler represents the counties in the 4th House District which includes Caldwell, Crittenden, Livingston, and a portion of Christian.
