Santa Claus is comin’ to Hoptown via a fire truck to visit neighborhood families Sunday.
The inaugural Santa Claus is Comin’ to Hoptown event is a collaboration between Hopkinsville Parks & Recreation, Fire Department, and Police Department, bringing Santa Claus to visit area neighborhoods with three separate, simultaneous runs beginning at 1 p.m.
Each HFD truck will be followed by an HPD vehicle to safely distribute goodie bags to children.
Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman said they have been looking to find unique ways to bring Christmas joy to families this weekend.
