Christian County Schools Working On Employee COVID-19 Vaccine Plan

Christian County Public School officials are putting together plans to ensure their employees get a COVID-19 vaccine when available to educators.

Superintendent Chris Bentzel said Tuesday afternoon that educators had the chance to receive it after health care workers and long-term care facility employees.

Bentzel doesn’t think the vaccine will be a big issue for his employees.

The district is also communicating with students regularly to see how they handle the NTI work from home.

Bentzel stressed that NTI does not replace traditional classroom instruction. He also shared how they are bringing in small groups of students to each school to allow the opportunity to catch up on missed school work during the weekly COVID-19 briefing with area media members.
