Hopkinsville Police are investigating the report of a man assaulted by three people on West 1st Street Saturday night.
Police say a 53-year-old man was found laying on the ground near the intersection of Kentucky Avenue with injuries sustained from a suspected assault.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charge as second-degree assault.
