COVID-Related Deaths Reported in Caldwell and Three Other Area Counties

Officials with the Pennyrile District Health Department reported four COVID-19 related deaths in four of the five counties in their district Wednesday and 43 new cases.

According to officials, the deaths include a 74-year old female from Caldwell County, 50-year old male from Crittenden County, 91-year old male from Livingston County, and an 82-year old male from Trigg County.

Health department officials also said they failed to report demographics on three individuals from Caldwell County that were included in their graph last Friday — a 95-year old female, an 87-year old female, and a 93-year old female.

Caldwell County Judge-Executive Larry Curling told the News Edge Wednesday evening eighteen new coronavirus cases were confirmed and include five females and thirteen males from 22 to 75-years old. Seventeen of those cases are recovering at home and a 75-year old man is hospitalized.

Since the pandemic began 641 total cases have been confirmed in Caldwell County.

The health department also reported six new cases in Lyon County Wednesday, seven in Crittenden County, six in Trigg County and six in Livingston County.
