Princeton Fire Victim Shares Her Gratitude for Donations

A Princeton woman who lost her home, two dogs, and everything she owned in a fire about two weeks ago is expressing her gratitude for the outpouring of support and donations she has received from around the area.

Lynnie Crowe reached out to the News Edge because she wants to publicly thank everyone for their generosity.

click to download audioCrowe’s mobile home located at 12855 Farmersville Road in Princeton was destroyed in a fire the evening of November 17th. Her daughter, 46-year old Carrie Rickard, was home at the time of the fire and tried to save the dogs but she was too late and two of the dogs died. Crowe said her daughter suffered burns to her arm, both legs, lips, and hair and was treated at the scene.
